Trick or Treat: Michelle
Around here Michelle is known as the Dancehall Queen- but when it's October she officially becomes Miss Queen Halloween.
Need some out of this world costume inspo? This girl's got it. Plus, if you're looking for the perfect spooky film to get you in the mood, Michelle's pick is throwing it back- waaaay back.
Ok, first thing's first- what the greatest Halloween costume you've ever done?
This was actually really hard to think about- I love dressing up just because! But the best Halloween costume was the body painted iguana. The painter's skills were cray cray.
That's truly insane. So, what are you going to be this year?
This year, as I was hunting through Goodwill, I found a custom made dress that looks like rags of a scare crow. So, I'm going as a Bull fighting Scare Crow. I honestly don't know how I come up with this stuff.
Wow, go AWF! If you had all the time and money in the world, what costume would you create?
I would definitely be a Futuristic Robot Mystical Creature Afro-Queen Warrior. Duh.
What's your favorite Halloween candy?
My absolute favorite Halloween candy and all the time guilty pleasure are candy apples. And not just the Carmel candy coated ones- the ones that go HAM with chocolate and nuts and sprinkles- OH MY!
So, did you have a special route you would go trick or treating on as a kid?
So in my neighborhood (after we'd go egging of course), there was only one place to go trick-or-treating and it was in a particular part of Dorchester where the nice, big houses and rich people lived. That's where we got the good candy.
What's your favorite Halloween scene of all time?
Old Halloween movies were the best and worst because 1. The black person was always killed off first and 2. The suspense was soooo good. I don't think I'll ever get over Candyman and how at every sleepover, kids would dare someone to go in the bathroom and call out his name three times.
Trick or Treat? 305's got both for ya. 🎃
