We sat down with this hot mom-in-the-making to get the goss on what to expect when you're expecting at 305.
Girl. 7 months pregnant and still teaching cardio. Wtf?! What's been the hardest part?
Real talk: the only obstacle was I got sick a few times and had to find a sub. When you're pregnant, you're basically sharing your immune system. Overall though, I feel way better than I imagined.
And now you're 2/3 of the way there! Any advice for soon-to-be moms?
Keep working out! I was exhausted in my first trimester. That's when you're officially growing a human like the baby's arms, legs and pancreas. Plus, the hormones made me feel nauseated.
I'm such an advocate for working out while pregnant because I felt so much better on the days when I worked out.
So working out helped you combat stress and beat nausea. Were you able to still go H.A.M. in class?
I still broke a sweat in my classes. But I felt more tired almost instantly and I had to learn how to take it easy.
If you're pregnant and working out, give yourself some credit!
Remember you are growing a human, so it's ok to feel tired some days and take a day off from your workout.
What are you looking forward to the most about being a mother?
I'm looking forward to having someone else to take care of besides myself. I'm going to birth this human who is counting on me and relying on me for everything.
Also, I'm excited to just bond with this baby! I'm having a girl so I can't wait for girl time. #GIRLPOWER
Do you think your daughter will become a dancer?
Every time I go to the doctor's office, the doctor says, "Woah your baby is super active. What are you doing?!"
I think it's 305 -- the moving around and the music she's hearing. Hopefully she'll be a natural when she comes out.
I'm definitely not going to be a stage mom.
I'm going to put her in dance classes as soon as she can walk, to see if she likes it. Whether she wants to dance or play soccer, I want her to go for it.
