Guillermo’s warmth radiates stronger than the Caribbean sun. His class is like the perfect beach day. The temperatura is hot (not too hot), your tan is perf, your frozen margarita is still frosty AF, and your all-white outfit is flawless.

He is incredibly charming and totally authentic. You’ll feel like you’re being whisked away to a romantic Caribbean island by this sexy teddy bear and his giant smile.

"I want you to feel excited, happy and SEXY."

First off, why are you excited to start teaching at 305?

Because I can be myself. ((305)) is a place unlike any other. I've been teaching dance for a long time, but ((305)) is a place where everyone can truly feel free.

Love it! What's your life motto?

Be happy! Life is too short!

What's your go-to post-class snack or meal?

Rice, beans and meat!

YAS with the rice and beans! Reppin the D.R. There's so much anti-immigrant rhetoric in Trump's administration.

Yes there is. I'm from the Dominican Republic. I arrived to New York less than a year ago. It's been a rollercoaster. As a little boy, the United States was the land of my dreams. I've always thought of this place as a place of opportunity. I'm still filled with optimism. Things will work out. Things will change for the better. People will open their hearts. I still believe in this country.

Where were you when Hillary lost?

I was at a gay bar, working as a server. Needless to say, it was extra depressing. Everyone in there was hoping she would win.

Who's your 305 instructor crush?

What's your favorite word in the English language?

Cool 😎

What's one thing you've learned about yourself in the last year?

I have learned to be more independent, to understand that I am able to achieve the things I want, and not to be afraid of the opportunities that life offers me.

I've also learned to give more love, without needing to ask anything in return.

To wrap it up, where can we follow your adventures in this new country?
