Super Moments That Made Us Go, “Yaaas Gaga!”

Paws up for Mother Monster this weekend as she headlines this year’s Super Bowl LI halftime show! If past years’ artists are any indication of what we can anticipate (hellur, Beyoncé, Bruno Mars, and Madonna), we literally CAN'T. WAIT.

Embodying #305LOUD, Gaga has been an entertainment force for over a decade, since her days as a student at NYU. She continues to use her platform to advocate for women’s rights and LGBTQ rights, as well storytelling her experiences as a sexual assault survivor and raising awareness around living with mental illness.

She really deserves all of the applause. Here are some of her top moments that made us go gaga for Gaga:

Her Many Award Shows & Red Carpet entrances From her amazing Drag King Moment at the VMAs as Joe Calderone to being walked into the Grammys as an unhatched egg to the provocative meat dress, Gaga has always found a way to use her fashion and her appearances to make a bold statement. She knows the power of her presence and will always have give the Paparazzi a Million Reasons to keep talking about her and the issues that matter.

Performance in St. Petersburg Russia After her Dec 2012 performance in St. Petersburg, her promoters were fined for booking her gig as it was “promoting homosexuality.” Not one to every shy away from shock activism or reducing her performance quality, her tenacity for performing and speaking out in places that rally against what she stands for is another way Mother Monster continues to reach out to those marginalized across the globe.

Bey & GaGa collabs I meannnn, we got the iconic visuals for "Video Phone" and “Telephone.” While we’re still waiting to see them perform together live, we’ll happily accept these collabs with Queen Bey.

Pizza to her fans Like any true New Yorker, Gaga loves a good $1 slice. When her fans were waiting outside her hotel in June 2015, she threw a pizza party for them so that folks wouldn’t go hungry. She gets us *cries in pizza rat*.
